CLIENT SERVICES - Schools

Therapy Rehabilitation Services has been providing licensed therapists to schools in the greater Phoenix area for the past 20 years and has now extended our services to include the Tucson area as well.  TRS can provide staffing for Public, Private, Charter Schools and Preschools.  Our therapists are available either full or part time with a contract for the entire school year to ensure continuity for your students.   Shorter term placements are also available to help cover for situations such as illness or family/maternity leave.

Qualifications

All TRS therapists have been carefully screened before being placed in a school assignment.  We require a thorough background check and drug screening as well as an Arizona fingerprint clearance. In addition, TRS employees have CPR Certifications, annual TB tests and OSHA training.  TRS confirms that all employees have current, valid and unrestricted licenses and necessary certifications to practice in schools in the state of Arizona.  Bilingual services are also available and a Spanish Immersion Program is offered to encourage therapists to develop the skills needed to service this student population and their families.

Training and Orientation

TRS’s Clinical Training Director, Debbie Wise-Duff, M.A.SLP, provides training and orientation for our therapists prior to the start of the school year to familiarize them with the requirements and documentation needed in the school setting.  Programs such as IDEA and NCLB, as well as Arizona laws that apply to school personnel are covered.  TRS also provides an on-going Continuing Education Program for our employees as well as other interested therapists in the school districts.  This program allows our therapists to expand their base of knowledge, update skills and network with other professionals in their fields to share successful clinical experiences.  Whether you need a Physical or Occupational therapist, Speech Language Pathologist or Psychologist, our highly trained employees will fit right in!
