Jeffrey T. Smith, President, CEO
Melissa Smith, Chief Financial Officer
Jeff comes to the company with years of executive level experience in a Fortune 500 company and Melissa with experience in a pediatrics clinic and with two successful start-up businesses.   In addition, Jeff is a former member of the Board of Directors of a large national charitable foundation. Together, they provide the team support and vision that has allowed TRS to grow and expand year after year.  Their Golden Rule Philosophy is to treat each client and employee with only the highest level of fairness and respect.
     
Sherry A. Crerie, P.T.
Executive Vice President
Sherry has been a practicing Physical Therapist in the Phoenix area for over 30 years, and prior to joining the staff at TRS, was the Clinical Director of another contract staffing agency providing therapists for medical settings.  She supervises the Therapist Placement Team to ensure that each therapist is placed only at facilities within the scope of their expertise.  Her focus is the placement of all therapists for our school clients and the Physical Therapists for our medical client facilities.  She is the past President and current Vice President of Phoenix Physical Therapy Directors, a professional organization for executive level clinical directors and managers.  This group provides a forum for discussion of topics of common interest or concern in the therapy community, such as new developments in legislation and rehabilitative care.  They also provide ongoing Continuing Education opportunities for therapists and support an AzPTA scholarship fund.

Debbie Wise Duff, M.A., SLP-CCC
Clinical Training Director
Debbie holds 2 Masters Degrees, one in Speech-Language Pathology and one in Elementary Education.  She has worked for over 30 years as a clinician and manager in various settings including schools, clinics, and hospitals, and with all ages of patients from infants to geriatrics.  Debbie coordinates TRS’s ongoing continuing education program for our employees and other licensed therapists.  She also provides the training and orientation program for Speech Pathologists beginning work in schools or transitioning from schools to medical settings.  She recently received the prestigious ASHA “ACE” Award for Continuing Education.

Kerry LaBarbera
Executive Staffing Specialist
Kerry has worked in the medical field for over 17 years.  She works closely with the Executive Vice President and is an integral part of the Therapist Placement Team.   She coordinates the placement of our Occupational and Speech Pathology employees to ensure that the needs of individual medical client facilities are met with therapists who have the proper skills and experience to work with each specific patient population.  She also has experience in all aspects of Human Resources and office administration and coordinates TRS’s extensive employee benefit plans.  

Rachel Miller
Office Administrator
Rachel has over 20 years experience in office administration and business management. Her keen attention to detail ensures accuracy in billing, payroll and other client related services.  Her efforts ensure our clients that all employees have current and unblemished licenses, CPR and OSHA training, immunizations and all other credentials required to be JCAHO compliant at all times.

Carolyn Anderson
Business Development Manager
Carolyn has more than 25 years of sales and business management experience.  Her duties include marketing, advertising and client relations.   She coordinates TRS’s ongoing recruiting efforts to enable us to keep up with the growing demand for therapists valley wide and works with new clients to set up contracts for our services.
