TRS’s Clinical Training Director provides training and orientation for our school- based employees prior to the start of each school year to familiarize them with the roles and responsibilities of therapists in the schools. Programs such as IDEA, NCLB, HIPPA and multi-disciplinary evaluation requirements are also covered. Our director has thirty years of clinical and management experience and provides on-going support to our employees during the school year.
TRS maintains an extensive library of resource materials for our employees to use. Therapy tools and games, testing material and other useful items are available to supplement school district supplies if needed.
New grad with a Master’s degree in Speech Pathology? We have a great program to work your Clinical Fellowship Year in a school-based position. We will provide assistance with all the licenses and certifications needed to work in schools in Arizona. We will also provide the CF Supervisor needed to obtain a license to practice who will mentor you for the year. Please contact us for all the details
TRS provides an on-going Continuing Education Program for our therapists. Monthly in-service presentations are offered on a variety of subjects of interest to therapists. This program allows therapists to expand their base of knowledge, update skills and network with other therapists in their fields. In addition, reimbursement money is available for Continuing Education courses offered outside the company to add to your skills toolbox and fulfill the renewal requirements for professional licenses.
