Vision and Language-What’s the connection?

Current Treatment Trends

PRESENTER:  Dr. Robert J. Esposito, O.D., F.A.A.O., F.C.O.V.D.

This course will focus on learning related vision problems. The lecture will cover all of the components of the visual system and how dysfunctions and imbalances of any of the components can negatively impact reading, writing and performance at school and with daily life activities.
Dr. Esposito is the owner of Advanced Eyecare and Vision Therapy, a clinic that provides traditional eye care plus more advanced rehabilitation programs for vision problems that are not adequately treated by glasses or contacts alone. Vision Therapy is an individualized, supervised treatment program designed to correct visual-motor and/or perceptual-cognitive deficiencies. Vision Therapy sessions include procedures designed to enhance the brain’s ability to control eye alignment, eye tracking, eye teaming, eye focusing and visual processing abilities.
